FAQ

You received a link to your files, now what?

You have 2 weeks to download your images through Hightail. After that time, the link will no longer function. After this 2 week download period, there will be a charge for my time to re-upload files.

You do not have to sign up for a Hightail account to download your images.

You will need a desktop or laptop computer to download these files, they will not download to a tablet or phone. Some workplace firewalls can prevent large folders from downloading so you may need to use your home computer instead.

How do I unzip the folder after downloading?

Image folders are "zipped" and you must "unzip" or extract the folder in order to access your files. After you locate the downloaded zipped folder(s) you can unzip the folder:

-Mac OS

The folder will unzip automatically when you double click the zipped folder

-Windows

press and hold (or right-click) the folder, select Extract All, and then follow the instructions

Why did you send me JPEG and TIFF?

You will receive both JPEG and TIFF versions of your files. They may come in the same download link or the TIFFs may come in separate links if you are receiving more than 10 images. TIFF files are very large and the Folder can be many gigabytes in size so please be patient and wait for the entire folder to download before you try to unzip it.

For internet use (email, websites), The web or the JPEG files are the ones you should use. The uncompressed 16bit TIFF format provides greater color information which makes it better for printing, image manipulation, and archiving.

Cant find your invoice?

If you have not already paid, you will receive an invoice by email and you can mail a check to the address on the full invoice or you can pay with a credit card from the link on the invoice. The invoice will come from this address mailer@waveapps.com so check your junk mail if you don't see the invoice email.
